Please plan to contribute lessons, ideas, or to participate in discussion boards.
Hello to all my 3rd grade teammates! I just wanted to encourage you to use the online piece of the math program, PearsonSuccessNet.com! It allows students to go over exactly what you've done in your class for math. The learning animations, the guided and independent practice are there AND it gives them an online quiz. If they complete the quiz and do well then they get an enrichment sheet or if they don't pass it they will get a remediation sheet to complete. Students are able to print the sheet, complete it and bring it in to you.
It takes a few minutes to set-up your class, but believe me- it's worth the 30 minutes! In this data-driven era of instruction you will have another tool at your fingertips you can use to justify or guide your instruction. If you need assistance with it let me know! I'm not the expert, but I've learned a few things by using it with my students.

Calling all third grade teachers!!!! This is going to be a great tool we can use to communicate and share information across the county. I'm excited to see what we will accomplish by the end of this year. Please share any ideas that you have used in your classroom that are working!

I'm wondering if any other 3rd grade teacher is using the online piece to Pearson? It's http://www.pearsonsuccessnet.com and if you haven't tried it, PLEASE do! It's really a great tool for kids to use at home. If for no other reason, students can access their books, papers, etc. at home. NO MORE "I forgot my book, paper, etc"! Parents can see what students are learning. It helps! Let me know what you think!
